1.5.1 script problem
« on: January 04, 2010, 05:23:23 pm »
i have recently started beta testing on the new soldat 1.5.1.
and well, i tried to make my portal account and its saying that i need to get on internet explorer and enable the scripts...to be able to access my profiles
i use Firefox and NOT internet explorer, but i can still access the internet explorer, so i enabled the scripts and java scriplets and all and its now saying check the script and java still...
but i don't know what java i have, i know i DO have it and it is enabled, i mean...what's my problem here? :'(

Make sure you are using 1.5.1.10.
Then why doesn't the message say:
 'Use Soldat 1.5.1.10 or higher',
instead of
 'enable javascript in IE' ?
Especially when it's not only shown when javascript is actually disabled, but also when HTTP request lacks X-Soldat-Ver header - introduced in 1.5.1.10.

Make sure you are using 1.5.1.10.
This Problem is still persistent in 1.5.1.10. I've filed a bug report at bugs.soldat.pl for this problem now.
