According to this thread http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=37025.0 you guys never buy headphones with microphone.

So the question is:
Do you use voice chat? For example Skype, ICQ, MSN?

I personally don't have a microphone. I don't mind getting one, but I don't see any occasion where I'd want/need to use it so far. I don't like to talk you see, I prefer to type things out slowly, not to mention my hearing isn't very good so trying to chat with voice rather than with words can be a bit hard for me.

So no, I don't use voice chat.

I use vent when I play gilwarz. I just drape this little mic that came with an old webcam around my neck and it works fine.

What... (with a * ) I don't see anywhere where people have said that ( the topic is only about headphones as far as I know )

who buys headsets? I'd rather get a clip on/desk mic ( my Zalman clip on mic is pretty awesome )

Another question is:
Tell us more about your microphone. Is it integrated in laptop or it comes with headsets? Or it's just a pure microphone?

I just use the little microphone that's built into my webcam. It's good enough.

I had a microphone on the end of a wire that was small and clipped onto some things, like my shirt, but it was a little impractical otherwise. I don't have a good PC (quite the contrary) to take advantage of Vent, etc. for gaming. I'm tempted to get a bluetooth headset for my PS3, though.

No reason to get the bluetooth for the PS3 unless you're REALLY that into gaming. I have one and got it with Warhawk (awesome game) in a combo for only $20! Anyways, the only time I really used it was once with Kazuki playing Rockband 2. Otherwise, I probably would have never used it.

Well I ended up buying a Rocketfish wired (15 ft USB cord) headset for $18 at Best Buy. It works well, and actually provides a clearer sound than the Bluetooth ones. When other players use those it picks up ambient noise... such as their TV, pet, annoying little brother, etc. and sometimes even my own voice coming from their end, so it ends up overlapping and then I can't hear anything.

What laptop? headsets = headphone + mic attached ( like in the wire, integrated basically ) headphone = headphone, nothing else

pure microphone that you can attach to your hedphones/earphones etc
