New scripted gamemodes?

Throughout the years, soldat scripting became more popular every day, scripters making new, great gamemodes (cs, hexer, TW/TTW and way more). Mappers making new, beautiful and professional maps, and server hosters having even more servers with these maps and gamemodes. But the sad thing is, most of these gamemodes are dying because of people getting bored of them. That's why we need to make even more, and better gamemodes! Before version 1.5 of soldat was realeased, everybody was exited, saying how many great possibilities scripters will now have for use in their scripts. But, after it was released, i have not seen many things involving the new features, like changeable gravity and animated scenery. One of the causes for this is that they run out of ideas. WE run out of ideas. So I'm asking you all, to post your ideas for new scripts and gamemodes, that will make soldat an even better game.

Give them ideas and try to make them inside the possibilities of the scriptcore.

Was a tl;dr, so i didnt go past the first sentence.

Anyways, the biggest problem imo is to make the script player friendly.
Last year, I dreamt I was pissing at a restroom, but I missed the urinal and my penis exploded.

Yes, player friendly scripts mostly suck and those not player friendly are awesome but aren't popular.

I'd play hexer or miracle mod if there were a server for it. : /

But besides that, heavy scripts like MM or hexer seems to further cause me access violations to a ridiculous extent that I need to quit the game with CtrlAltDel because the errors keep popping out endless when I join the server and something happens. I bet its the same text related error I get after a clean install of soldat when long sets of characters are printed. I fucking hate it.

But yeah, I have not lately seen much servers with those scripts. Some TW and Bombski multimode(<3), but thats it.

I dont know about this "most people", but recently the only games I've played for the past severals months were nothing but normal public deathmatch and CTF games. Just plain normal mode with no scripts and theres lots of people doing the same as me. Never gets old.

I for myself would like to see some more RPG styled servers but with similiar elements games like Rappelz or Flyff include like skilltrees and jobs.

RPG's suck IMO, TW is kinda cool but TTW is better
And i didint make this topic for people to tell me existing modes, i wanted IDEAS for NEW modes.

Name what? I do want stuuf to be listed, if you know anything nice, but i dont think that i will hear anything new. And the purpose of this topic is for new ideas, mainly. I didint hear even one...

dude, it was new three years ago <.< Around the time hexer was booming. You have HT and LK "zombie remakes" now and whatnot.

Recently I got lucky and accidently found "Redes's Miracle Mod!" server in the lobby. I've been playing on it like a maniac for the past few days with low ping, almost no errors, good maplist and great company. Epic win. Big thanks to who ever owns that server.

EC servers are a bit dubious since those are in USA and my ping can rise up to 200 if I play there.

But thanks for the suggestions dnmr and DarkCrusade! ;)
