Wat.
Where did you got the map?
I dont have it, and it would be the best assistance ever.

I have also max settings, but again i dont see anything 1m away, good that my suit has nightvision.
Also, i picked LR-300 off some Freedoms at the complex, where you help the Duty guys, i was full so i had to drop it, im now with a PKM (it think its it) and a SVD, both scoped and a M1911 for secondary.
That should be able to stop those pesky bloodsuckers.
Have 6 nades, 2 defensive, 4 offensive.

Also, my definition of stealth for Stalker- Its when you get close enough to the enemies to have a +85% hit rate with firing the first shot.
Last year, I dreamt I was pissing at a restroom, but I missed the urinal and my penis exploded.

when you download the mod, you should have the map BASE FILES and OPTIONALS, in this one you can choose different weather (dark,light,..)better nightvisions, minimap, weight limit, better shadows, etc... ;)

Try using the realistic one, 40kg.

LR-300, if you find it, use it, (and put silencer/scope/nadelauncher on it) it's probebly the best weapon next to the m4.
don't remember, think in the watchtower in the village infested with bloosuckers.

80KG ***GOT

Try using the realistic one, 40kg.
i like to carry allot of ammo and take weapons to sell them...

what i'm carrying now.

I found Freeman.

Meh, changed to 80kg. If i cant kill 2 bloodsuckers and 2 additional mutants, its just not worth it. (If you were in X-18, i was there starting with ~150 bullets, ended with a single clip picked up from an corpse)

~Currently: SVD, AS Val (integral suppression, beat that) a L85 for non human encounters (also, AS Val uses 9x39mm bullets, and i looted only once those bullets), USP for secondary., the Famas was picked a moment ago and the Makarov was used in the wild territory. I love too much my .45 cal ACP bullets to use them on the pesky mice.

Yeh, the stalker in the warehouse is dead, so i cant talk to him (after fox).

Nights are getting scary.
There are everywhere bloodsuckers, pseudodogs, burners (the guys who make the stuff levitate) and sometimes even poltergeists.
Zombified enemies included.
Occasionally the flaming ones (i used all the remaining bullets on him in X-18, to finally kill him with a single well placed knife kill). I just hate these ones.
Need stronger weapons.

Why did i sell the PKM. :(
75 bullets, bullets are used by the most enemies, ~70-80% of the max possible damage, good fire rate.

edit:
Wow, im starting to panic when im in darkness and i hear a sound but without knowing the reason for it.

This is getting scary now.
Its night, im in the military warehouses and each few minutes you hear some kind of a scream/howl.
Didnt fought an enemy with such an articulation, reminds of the pseudodog, but scarier than it.

Got the VSS Vintorez.
Current equipment: Vintorez, Dragunov, Val, USP and Flash Rifle.
I will probably drop the Dragunov except if i manage to find the silencer for it, then its goodbye to Vintorez, but i could drop them both, as Val is doing fine, and if i need to snipe something, there is the flashy rifle.

P.S. X-16. That psychic mutant was quite easy now.
Hide, wait to stop dizziness, move from cover, aim for head, hide.
Still scary as shit.

I love this mod. It isnt the shock that is frightening, but the never ending expectation that something will just jump from the nearby corner/bush.

wtf? what? how? =/

what's the difference between this and OL?

this is awesome.
OL does not add new supercool weapons, realism, better AI, stealth, better weather, OL has stupid vehicels,...and many more. OL sucks, L.U.R.K. is the way to go if you want to play the REAL stalker.

don't care, OL sucks, never liked it. L.U.R.K. is for the people who want to play the real stalker.
but hey, if you like it, good for you. but this is a topic about L.U.R.K. and it's awesomeness.

(also, lurk uses some parts of OL, but expands them beyond awesomeness.)

Is this better than Stalker Complete 2009? I've been running with that one for a while.
