polyworks maps problem
« on: January 11, 2010, 09:00:35 pm »
Sometimes, when I play on a map made from Soldat Polyworks, everyone just falls behind the map from the spawn points in parachutes. How do I fix that?

Place spawns closer to the ground/place them properly.

Attach the map so we can see what is the problem.

edit:
Does it d/c you a few seconds after that and says "wrong map version"?
It means that Soldat client loaded an another map while the server is running something else, usually happens if they change map when you are downloading it.
A simple reconnect would do the trick.

edit2:
And what Blue Ninja said.

@Mudkipz eater -  No, they are not teleporting around; they just appear at the spawn points, and float down to the bottom of the map with parachutes, and my connection has no problems. This also happens with bots

@croat1gaemr - It doesn't matter where the spawn points are, everyone ends up behind the map floating down in parachutes.
This happens with any map that's made with Soldat Polyworks, not just my maps; yes that includes downloaded ones
No, disconnection and "wrong map version" didn't happen

@lucarioBlue-ninja - The maps were already compiled
