edges are back in 1.5.1

I am pretty sure that I didn't disabled edges in any moment, and 1.5 maps don't have any edges (that little border around the polys). In 1.5.1 they are back.

Just play htf_Void in 1.5.and in 1.5.1 and you'll notice the difference.

Is this happening to you too?

Hmm, nope. I see the edges in both versions. Must be something wrong with your setup. :|

<Mr> yes, it allocates more electrons, so there are more electrons available for Soldat -> they are streched less and it is more fluent

You can enable/disable this in config.exe (Smooth polygons under performance tab)

"Smooth polygons" doesn't really make sense. It doesn't make polygons smoother - it just makes polygon edges use an image. The fact that they appear a little smoother is just an optical illusion.
For some reason I had them disabled too, but I never knew what that setting actually did. Why not just call it "enable polygon edges"?

nowadays it is useless and crap.

Not at all. It looks a lot better with them on. You should take screenshots with them on and off and compare.

You know when the screen shakes(minigun/saw/nades... stuff), the edges just dont shake in the same step as the textures, sometimes it cover an idle nade and last but not least it drop a lil FPS. These are objective facts, and in my personal opinion it looks crap, btw my own Soldat run in the lowest of the low in Config.exe.
The rly strange fact is that edges dont cover some polies, idk why.

it's just harder to see nades with it on, but must be on to get the edges... kinda sucks...

An easy solution would be to make nades appear in front of edges.
