basically yes, i just need some server with internet players

Dunno why iconcodecservice is not being used... It suppose to decompress icons and works fine with main icon. I see what i can do about it...

Bug with incorrect IP & falgs confirmed and will be fixed in the next version...

..which will come out probably this or next weekend.

Baka Admin source code released...
« Reply #63 on: April 04, 2010, 10:37:25 am »
Due to some reasons i'm releasing a bit unfinished source for the next Baka Admin version... Side panel needs to be rewritten, as well as some snapping to screen edges code and keyboard navigation for bookmarks. Along with the part for changing log font size/colour profile...
I don't expect anyone to work on this crap, but i just don't have time to work on it right now... until july probably...

See the first post for the download link...

ok, i've made a quick update to version 0.6.3 to let it work with server 2.7.1
links in the first post were updated

download

Also even though i released the source code nobody tried to help me with it so far, so i guess next release (as well as XP version) will come out only in summer, when i'll have some more free time to work on it...

While editing bookmarks, it is not possible to change "server adress" section. It doesn't save changes.
(Also, it should be "address" instead of "adress" if my memory serves me right about English)

This was already in the bugs list. Fixed in the next version...

Few words about how new features work:

Single click on Quick commands item inserts it's text to cmd edit box. Double click - sends command to the server if it doest end on space or inserts it's text to cmd edit box and hides Quick commands panel. Quick commands lists are stored in ".../Baka Admin/Commands lists/" folder as simple text files (you can find there list of standard commands). So everyone can easily add there his own commands or edit default list. Every line in the text file corresponds to a single Quick commands item. Line starting with "-" creates new group, all other lines are for items. Line format:
<command text>|<display text>|<tooltip text>
<display text> and <tool tiptext> aren't nessecary. Empty lines are ignored.

Profiles for the Quick config are stored in ".../Baka Admin/Config profiles/" folder as simple ini files.

In order to refresh the list of Quick commands and Config profiles one need to restart BA.

I guess all this stuff should be added into help file... I just don't have time to write it properly... :\

Also in the next version i'll fix Show tooltips option not affecting Quick commands tooltips.

VirtualTT, can you do anything about unicode characters?

Characters which are underlined must be ı ş ğ ç ö ü etc...

Are you getting the same problems using default admin client/arsse?
Soldat server admin protocol is ANSI. So all unicode characters that can't fit server codepage are complitely lost (? signs) or corrupted on the server side. Also corruption may occur if the server codepage differs from the codepage of the system on which BA is running.

I've just realized that, this problem doesn't occur on Windows servers. The problem is only with Linux servers.
So it is soldatserver265's bug, not Baka Admin's.

I moved my servers to linux about a month ago.
I've never used Linux before, so I've never noticed that bug before.

Btw, unicodes doesn't work in 1.5.1 at all.
It was reported about a half year ago.

Actually if the problem occurs only with Linux servers the reason for it is that server's codepage is different from turkish so characters are getting corrupted. From what i can see on the screenshots your server is using default ANSI codepage (~western). Changing it to a proper one ( dunno how to do this under linux... ) should solve the problem.

v0.6.4 beta for Windows Vista/Seven (x86 and x64)

TO DO list
  • ...
  • XP version.
Nothing is wrong, current version of Baka Admin doesn't support Windows XP.

I'm actively working on the next version at the moment, it's getting several steps closer to XP.

It not Win XP.
Bad engrish have you XD
