TTW/TW_Bridge

I made this map a few days ago for Tactical Trenchwar gamemode but also decided to relase the TW version of it.
Waypoints: yes;

Nice looking ttw stuff. Nicely multitextured, stunning buildings. BG itself is not having heavy looking scenery crap. The bridge could have some more scenery.

U modeled layout fits the best for ttw. Waiting for playtest :)

Name already taken by one of my older TW maps.

On a sidenote: The tents look like they are taken from another TW map ... however, nice job at scenery, multitexture and bridge.

I've never seen a tw map named bridge (I've got 56 tw maps in my soldat directory which is 4 years old)
And the tent... I just made it, I didn't copy it from another tw map, maybe similar one is on another map which was also made by me (trainyards)

For reference.

Layout is kinda strange... Just like on your other maps...
Polygon structure could be much better. I think it's possible to remove ~500 polygons without any difficulties... bridge deserves only a single polygon instead of >300

82 tw maps here...

Strange layout? It's layout typical for a TTW map. And about the bridge... I'd have to use scenery then which looks ugly.

You could make a scenery of these polygons which will look exactly the same.

No, it doesn't. Depends what resolution you are playing on. To look smooth on higher one I would have to use 32bit png in high resolution.

edit:
@down: I know how but I'm not going to.

Screen shot straight from polyworks, paste to photoshop/paint, cut and set background transparent.
You can also make it into parts so scenery resolution wont be too big/small.

I don't think the polygon count is the real problem here. It's just a fine piece of work on that bridge not done with sceneries, which most people seem to be willing to ignore.

This. I just love this maps visuals and I donĀ“t think that the layout is "kinda strange".

This is not the right place to ask how to get TTW maps work the way they should. Ask in the scripting section for help.
