net acting up

hey, think you guys might be able to help me out.

something's up with the computer: at first it was only facebook shitting me, like not loading properly, unable to comment, like, or even view hidden comments, not being able to reply to messages or view even the help page. basically, everything which requires the site to load something without changing the url has gone bunk.

yeah, fuck facebook, that's not that big of an issue, but some blog services do the same in similiar situations. comments not getting sent, unable to save blogposts or save edited css etc. this is a far more important issue because I use blogs for work.

using the latest version of firefox, wireless router, windows xp, no service pack installed. can't switch to google chrome until i get sp2.

any takers?

Does this occur with IE browser? (If you have one)
You could change your DNS servers, that have worked for some people with the same problem (Facebook not loading properly along with other sites such as MySpace and some blogs)

I'm not that good in internet troubleshooting, so I really don't know.

Well, I'd recommend you to get SP2 and try Google Chrome if it works.
Have you updated anything lately before this problem occured, though?

Well, I doubt it's a virus. But you can try if it works.

seems it was just a temporary fluke, everything's working fine again.

Still, get the latest service pack (sp3) for XP. (kill possible security issues and possibly make things better) And yeah, internet can be temporarily flaky sometimes.
