Crusades unfinished projects

I start this topic so that I won´t flood the mapping section with threads by me. I will post my latest unfinished WIP maps here so we will be able to discuss about them.

Remake of HTF_Arch:

Just a visual update. No gameplay tweeks. You can´t shoot through or pass the bridge. I used less scenery than before but I think my new version looks way better than the original.



Remake of ctf_Division:

Minor layout tweaks. I was concerned about the scenery I used in the past so I removed a lot of that background stuff that annoyed some of you. Also I decreased the opacity of scenery that is in use. I hope it is less distracting now and I hope even more that I didn´t ruin the industrial feeling this map had.




Maps I will work on later: ctf_Nuubia (again), inf_Warehouse (nearly ready)




Layout. Mirrored. What do you think about it?

sketch looks a bit like pantheon meets blox and I think its the most interesting one I think you should mirror the bases(pantheon part) but not the boxes part.

God I hate imageshack, it takes decades to load those pictures..
(three and half decades later)
Blox thingy looks good and you should work on that rather than your s**tty modifications.

What is wrong about the Arch remake?

Original:
-no overlapping of polygons
-polybugs because of (^)
-semi transparent polygons
-bad visuals

I didn´t recommend Division for default. It´s a custom map.

What is wrong about the Arch remake?
Excluding the weird mountains theres nothing is really wrong with it,
but you could've used this set of visuals on your own original map better.

Besides, visual updating would mean this.
Not like yours which is more like just a "Crusade-version".

Crusade-Version like too much scenery, black borders, old layout?
Don´t be like that, you know I wanted to say that it´s a visual remake.

The whole visual remake of yours doesn't fit to be Arch, also.. Borders are a taboo.
Map turns bigger and minimap tightens into a pixel mess. Borders should be used only to
cover things that are partly part of the inside area, but still messy and unconnected junk outside.
And even then it's not necessary to use this large borders.

Let's recap so you don't have to talk anymore.

The whole visual remake of yours doesn't fit to be Arch. (overally none of your visual remakes does)
you could've used this set of visuals on your own original map better. (as well all of your other visual remakes)
you should work on that (your own maps) rather than your s**tty modifications.
