Hey, I have this soldat server and I have no idea what to do with it. Hope you guys can help me find a resonable mode I can set it up with.

Server's specifications:

Current mode: knife only
ip: 188.40.141.205:23075
server location: germany [Gunzenhausen]
Intel i7 920
ram: 8GB DDR3
hdd: 2x750GB
connection 100mb/s

Make it either a public INF or a public DM, with good playable custom maps and at least 10 player limit.

I would like to see more people playing INF, I like it, but the problem is that there are not enough people who play it currently

I agree. And it's annoying how there's only one good/popular inf server. (graveyard) We need more.

Make it INF and put up my weapon mod. Thats unique and then some. I'll be releasing it with my mod anyways. Gief me credit if you do.

I´d suggest a ZombieSurvival. There is a huge empty space in Soldat without !KY ZombieSurvival ... it was awesome. I´d play there night and day if it was back and I am not alone. It would need to be scripted from sketch then, though, but I could help with further information on skills, levels and stuff.

I just made an ZRPG server a few weeks ago, and it runs ok, but thats nothing unique. A sandbox server would be nice, but I tryed this and it was allways empty because no one likes to read the !help text... and I think thats the problem of the most servers with nice gamemodes on it, the most player just dont understand it...

Most ZRGPs are based on levels, skills and playing against zombies in INF mode. ZSurvival is based on TM and you are able to be a zombie OR a human. Where humans have many different skills zombies have special abilities but less skills.

I have been trying around with a survival, but after I started I always get lazy and stop working on it again, but I'll maybe make it when you will host it then.

You're hosting it in Ger you say?
If anyone here ever was a regular Inf pubber, you'll know Internal Bleeding Inflict (Aka: IBI) was the shit.
It was full about 8-10 hours a day, because it's a very, very good location for a public Inf server, use absolutely no mods, no fancy eye candy cover maps, no nothing.
If you want, remove the minigun, as it causes immense FPS lags on low end PC's such as mine, and give only the basic kits on a low frequency of spawns; predator, berserker, clusters.
You'll want to use the default map pack along with some oldie celebrities in the Inf map scene, maps such as POW camp, Rise, Rescue, Undermines, Pokahusomething, and I repeat, do NOT throw in fancy remakes of remakes of remakes of remakes etc...Default maps get are the most fun.
You'll want one or two admins with a fair amount of common sense and actual experience with Inf morals.
Do all that, and you're guaranteed your server will be very active.

P.S: Player limits can range, so it's best to make it 10, most decent servers used that limit.
