I think high sensy has advantage over low sensy for Deagles mostly.

Differently of those FPS like CS, you dont need aim pixel per pixel to kill a guy. U can aim under or over, okay that not the best idea as keeping the mouse right on the guy, but all you need to know very well is the bullet arc and firerate.

Developing that idea on my head, i realized that Soldat is much more about movement than aimming. With high sensy u can be a extraornary rusher guy, getting all speed u need from mov tricks and dont loosing focus over the battle. But, your game resume in close range, which is a matter of who nade first or got the best close range dmg.

Thats my way to play, since the curret WM has no more those ranged DMG sprayer from old glory days (1.2.1) ye! i liked those days. Just remember killing lots of guys offscreen @ long maps...

Btw, high sensy Deagles is very effective against low skilled wormer bitches (not as autos, but okay). Even more if you play realistic which the DE recoil is very annoying to keep a high firerate.

The problem with high sensy to me, is that i need to concetrate very well, to estabilize it, but i think in the long run i will get better somehow, ima using that with no winXP acceleration with 1000dpi shit mouse, for 6 months now, but i think i dont got better yet hehe.

But i rly dont recommend that much sensy, since the 1.5.1 you'll be able to change only 1% per 1% sensy ingame. So, you'll be limited to one weapon, if you play that high. Try to find some usefull sensy for all weapons.

Soldat is not rocket science. You can use any weapon with any sensitivity.

I found BioHazard post interesting.
I can relate to what he said about playing for speed and rush.
I play like that, I focus more on movement than aim.
But it doesn't serve me well for the moment. I feel like my vision of the game is constantly restrained to close range.

I mean take a m79, stand still and wait for me in the middle of the map: 90% chance you will kill me.
Why? Because, it's almost impossible to dodge
a m79 bullet right in your face at close range.
And the m79 fire with no delay, so I have no time to throw a nade + deagle shot.

Only solution I found: moving the cursor very far while super-manning (to see if there is incoming enemies) and then moving it back again very quickly for the landing and the cannon ball that follows.
---> need high sensy for that.

And high sensy with me = bad aim.
(I use same resolution in soldat and windows, sensy is also the same for both. And with my previous dpi setting (before: 1280. Now: 777) I would regularly miss double-clicks and my aiming for buttons in Windows lol)

But I hope with time I will get better reflexes, and get used to faster and more precise movements.

is better play with higher DPI and lower the sensy values, because DPI is a hardware sensibility which is more precise than software (soldat/win).

My mouse can handle 5000 dpi, but im using 1700 in Windows. 5000 is not controllable at all. I also got 5 DPI levels which I can change in one mouse button click D: I'm using the G500 Logitech mouse btw, with weights. Best mouse evah.

In soldat I use 15%. Thats also slow, it's kinda handy in Realistic not having much recoil.

But I play normal mode most of the time, and I don't find it annoying so I'll keep that or maybe even go lower some time.
