So, im working on this mod for about ~10 hours, about the whole day, so i would like to hear the impressions on it.
The interface weapons are currently just resizes of the original ones, ill work on them when i finish some other basic stuff.

The alignments should be perfect, maybe except the clips, on which im still working and the -fire gfx'es.
Ill ask scout to do the gosteks, but if he is too busy, ill make them.
There wont be an alien team, mostly because i cant have seperate weapon sets, and they are short ranged only.


Spas-12-> Shotgun ~ I got rid of the green traces, was too lazy to make pics anew.

Minimi/Ak -> Pulse Rifle ~ I will make some minor difference between them to make them recognizeable

Weapons tab

Dedicating it to KoR, their mod looks much better than the vanilla one and they are quite good folks.

I know, deagles and mp5 look crappy ingame.
The weapon places arent 100% defined, and i will change them if i see that they are better fitting somewhere else.

Cool, a good weapons .ini and some gosteks could make this a really fun mod.

Ill do the weapons.ini probably at the end as a finishing touch.

What do you think of the weapons-gfx?
Im thinking of making them a bit smaller.
Are the reload sounds good? There were none i could use so i wase mixing them, hope they arent too repetitive.

Which weapons could swap positions?
Mp5 is bugging me the most but i cant swap it with fn, as it is the same as aug.

I would need a 2nd thought about my ideas.

All primaries are 99% finished, secondaries are at 50%, didnt start the bonuses (yet).

Im trying to do custom kits, but it looks that they dont support transparency at all.

Looks quite nice. I will download it and test it tomorrow.

I suggest you to put the flamer as the Minimi, the flamer is not so used so you can put it as primary and then make something to heal as flamer

Nice, good suggestion, changed them:


Did the outlines and fixed the weapon interfaces, they look decent imo.
I might do the statgun tonight and probably scrap the current Lasgun, also i need to pick something as knife/law/bow (has to be from the game).
Ill put a download link later, cant check the gfx'es right now, goddamn integers.

The updates will be slower from now on, due to school, but from friday ill have more time for modding, so the gosteks are on schedule then, in the meantime ill work with the object-gfx'es and probably i will make an own texture set (for the default ones at least).

Newest version out, did some details and stuff, added statgun, placed test textures.
This would be it for now, its 3:41 am.

Ill try to make decent references for the gosteks tomorrow, maybe editing both flamers.

I really like it, and it could work very very well for zombie servers if you make an spider gostek for second team, I can help you if you want.
For the ini, just put the minimi low range and high fire rate, the others you'll know how they are :P

PNG for kits don't work, just make boxes...

Ingame graphics are really nice, maybe some of them are too big IMO, but well done.

I will release quickfixes on workdays if i make a few minor changes:

So, i made the kits to look like boxes, i'd like them to be a bit bigger to make the images distinguishable by their look, not just the color:

Which gfx'es are too big?
If its ak/lasgun, ignore it, it will be scrapped and redone. (I wrote mp5 in the previous posts, typos)
For zombie servers, you might want to turn down the sound as the chainsaw is ear raping when used by more than 2 players on the same screen, ill try to fix it later.

Made ~20-30 reference pictures, should be enough to make decent gosteks.

You know, you probably should put the pulse cannon, in the the FN mini slot and the flame thrower, in the flame thrower slot  :P  just saying...That does seem to make the most sense. The fact is in tremulous you use a heal pad not a gun to boost your health.

So i had some excess time today

Finally understood how to load modded gosteks in anna's gostek viewer.

Also, current weapon layout is staying.
Plasma Cannon will become Plasma Thrower, Flamethrower will shoot fireballs.
Noticed some minor offsets, when i get rid of them i will upload the mod in 1 piece (here), there is still a lot of work to do to make a proper release.

Im going to make a alpha version of the interface tonight, will update some screenshot then.

Scrapped the unreg one, it just looked horrible.
I recommend that you play with bullet trails turned off.

Made a somewhat decent unreg interface, changed some weapon positions, now is just the knife unmodded.
Im working on anims and aligning the weapons currently, tomorrow is friday so ill try to convert the flames, smokes and explosions properly, do some more anim modding and make some changes on the gosteks so that they are less similar to the vanilla ones.
By sunday i will make it ready for a release.

Sorry for the lack of updates, wasnt able to work on the mod.
There is still some stuff i dont like, so youll have to wait.

Sorry for not releasing or making any updates, had many exams lately and couldnt work on anything.
Ill probably release it now "as is", because im not sure if i will be able to work on it for now.
