[Request Anti-feature] Wants mods/maps? JOIN!

Well, sometimes I see a few guests who hang around in the mods and map sections. I think that privledge should be removed. Also that they shouldnt be allowed into the Lounge, as that is our private area :)

You guys have yet to provide a good reason for it.  Oh no, so their IP doesn't get logged in the forums (though it is still in the webserver's access log) if they visit just to read.  The only forums that require logins are those that have something to hide.  Last time I checked, the whole point of the map/mods forums was to be able to publicly post them so anyone can download

ok how about the lounge, people have pictures there, and some guy did put his full name there, it was only up for a little bit, but who knows who could be in the bush by his front door...

...And you honestly think that if someone was so inclined to collect peoples' names and pictures of them for the purposes of say, stalking them, a login screen's going to stop them? It takes about a minute to register. Besides, as SDFilm said, MilkmanDan already has access.

anyone who doesn't want their picture or information on the internet shouldn't post it on a public forum.  And by "public forum" I mean anywhere on this site, even sections that would be off-limits to guests.  Everything on here is public since anyone can register without restrictions, so it is up to you to not post what you do not want shared.
