Threadding: Good Idea?
« on: April 20, 2010, 11:50:25 pm »
Hello guys. I am sure you all too tire of per second control, i have hit a snag that requires faster action (10-20 per sec will suffice). And the only way to do this is to use a thread. My question now is thus: is it wise, stable and advisable to use a singular threadded apponidleb() for all my quickupdate needs? I understand the new scriptcore's threadding got a kick in the ass. Is this true? If so does anyone know if we can expect the release in a reasonable timeframe?

Thank You.

It really varies from one place to another. On my home computer, for example, one thread usually runs fine, but any more not so much (I don't even think it runs properly). Other places I guess threads just hate running at. I haven't tested threads on the new server, so I can't comment on that. Test.
