is it just me or is realistic mode the REAL soldat.

tbh, i've never really even tried the other modes - they simply dont interest me. It'd be cool to see more realistic mode servers aswell

I've played Normal mode for most of the time. Realistic mode is for 'other' people, like the Spaz.

hehe, I started with playing realistic, then survival+realistic, and then as I found out how boring that is, I changed to normal mode.

it's just when you're noob that things seem to die slowly :p, that was atleast my case XD

Another good thing about Normal mode is that the Chainsaw (or chainsword, lightsaber, whatever amazingly awesome thing you've modded it to) is much more effective.

Survival yes but you don't need any patience for just real mod. On the contrary, you kill and die faster

That's odd. In r/s cws I could even camp for 40 minutes and wait/ outwit my enemy.
Or until he/she gets bored and rushes me.

True, but I really like being able to fall from any height without dying, having unrealisticly low recoil, not having to turn around to see what's behind me / ability to see through polygons, and staying alive longer  when playing against skilled players. 

Realistic mode totally impedes all of that.

 I don't mean to be offensive or shun/insult your highly regarded and friendly realistic soldat community, I'm just saying it's not for me.

realistic is just more interesting with all these fun additions like recoil, fall damage etc, normal is boring as fuck to me, if not for realistic i wouldn't even play soldat

I do prefer realistic modes for some reasons.. I like realism , most of the realistic-playing guys I have met are awesome- not all Majors (nice community) , and there are no Newbies joining the realistic servers. Actually, many servers have a script which kick Major automatically if he joins in.

But there aren't too many fun servers on realistic such as Volley, climb, m79 climb, duckhunt  etc. ; so when I'm in a serious need of fun, I uncheck the "Realistc" box from the filters.

The 2 most annoying parts of realistic mode. That is my opinion of course, you can never have everyone liking the same things in such large numbers.

Been playing realistic for all these 6 years and I preffer only realistic.
Sure I gave normal mode a few tries but no thx
You have to shoot much more to kill and that is not my style.
