I was talking to someone on #soldat.forums today when it occurred to me that there are several people within these forums that I'm not particularly fond of. And they have no idea.

It's easy enough to tell whether I like you or not -- if I'm nice to you, I like you; if I make fun of you, I still like you; and if I completely ignore you, then you might say that I despise you.

On the other hand, certain people like to play games and pretend as if they like someone when they really don't._MilkmanDanSo, out of curiosity, I'm wondering whether any of you out there have a burning desire to tell me just how much you really don't like me.

Meanwhile, if any of you are curious about my opinion of you, ask and ye shall recieve...or wait until I wield the Banhammer of Doom and see if you're among the first to go.

Well, most of the replies are positive. That can mean two things:
A) They mean it.
2) They're lying to prevent your suicide.
There are two sub-meanings to 2):
1) They're keeping you alive because they like you, or someone they like likes you.
B) They're keeping you alive to taunt you more.

I like you, I knew you at the old forums (not personally).
You don't know me, so I'm guessing neutral.

I didn't like Vijchii when he first joined either but grew to like him. I also didn't know his mother had grey pubes until now

Yes, actually. In a small region in Northern Iran, there is a language called Harzani (named after a town where it is spoken) which is an odd dialect of Tati. That's where I got my name from. Vijchti means "sexual activities" (particularly those between a man and a woman, beastiality is common enough there that they have their own word for it) and Doodah means "entertaining," which, in English, just becomes "funny."

You might not necessarily write like a 14 year old (I don't watch you close enough to really know), but your avatar looks like one that a 14 year old would pick. Mirroring our prejudice surrounding people's looks in real life, I'm sure this online community judges you -- before reading what you're writing -- based on that avatar and the similarly scribble-esque one before it.

For instance, today I saw The Bone Collector's avatar and, since it looks a bit like Palloco's, I immediately imposed Palloco's more striking characteristics onto this poor fellow. When I see people with artistic avatars, I can't help myself and assume that they're artistic or intelligent. When I see people with a monkey thrusting its pelvis into the air in some dance that would best be done horizontally, I just assume that they're quirky people and do my best to leave it at that.

More often than not, these avatars that people choose do reflect their personality, but in your case and The Bone Collectors', they're just misleading.

I've posted only a handful of times, and several of those posts were really stupid ones that I should've known better to post, one of which got me probated for 6 hours (6 hours of probation is a slap on the wrist, but still.)
