Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

I see you're using fceux. Where did you find the roms for it? I'm only finding .smc's, which only work in ZSNES which is impossible to get working on 64 bit Linux.

Project64 I got it because my old nintendo is a bit over 100 miles away right now, still working flawlessly though.

Nestopia, Znes, Project 64. I am getting a GBA and Playstation emulator soon. I haven't been playing many games as of late due to being too distracted or too tired to do anything but put a movie in and veg out.

Even after playing this game as a child for hours I STILL SUCK AT IT!!!

Hopefully doing a runthrough of banjo kazooie, Lttp, Oot, and something else I haven't decided... once I get done with a speedy runthrough of Morrowind.

"Good work, but you forgot Baby Moses."

Final Fantasy Tactics on ePSXe became the only way to play after a while. Using frame skip to quickly negotiate the annoying 'l.i.t.t.l.e. m.o.n.e.y.' scene is invaluable -_-

http://www.romnation.net/

for an example: If you search for Super Mario then it gives you roms of several emulators. You just have to choose the one that fits with your emulator.

This is what I'm playing and on real hardware - DS (via an old school GBA flashcart).

For those of you that don't know, this is the fan-translated version of Mother 3. It's the sequel to Earthbound (Mother 2 in Japan) for SNES. Despite Earthbound being an incredible game, with now an incredible following, Nintendo of America decided not to port Mother 3 over. So a group of hardcore dedicated fans worked for I think almost 2 years to release a translation patch that would be as close to, if not better than an official translated version. It wasn't just translating simple language, it had to be done just right to make sure that the story conveyed the same emotion and depth as the original Japanese version. It is an incredible story. It's almost like a very long cartoon that's well written. You really get into it and feel for the tiny pixelated characters. This game is a definite must have... even if you're not much of an RPG fan.

You can find all the info on this and all games in the Mother series at www.starmen.net. It's also where you can get the patch. They don't host the rom however.. and don't go asking for it there.

The only thing I'd prefer to play on an emulator rather than on the original console or VC are SNES- and GBA-era RPGs.

Oh, and Mega Man 6, since it never came to Europe.
