Discuss how great The game is.. and how the techs dont stop. people keep inventing new ones and the game came out in 2001 Whats up with that O.O

SSBM is a pretty good game, but it's certainly not the best ever.
SSBM is one of those games that's instant gratification and is relatively simple, kind of like Soldat.
Not the best game ever but good choice CC.

I have never played the orginal for the 64 smash brothers, but I have and own Super Smash Brothers Melee for gc.

I love the game and still occasionaly play it, but I have all of the characters, even Mewto, except Mr Game & Watch.

I just cannot get him.

There's a lengthy list of games from Third Strike on down to Super Smash Melee as far as best fighters are concerned.

I still prefer PowerStone 2 myself as the party fighter of choice.

i couldnt beat the 2 hands thing in the game mode or whatever section. my fav players where link and falco.

I used to play as Mario all the time, simple cuz he's hilarious.

I also play as Falco, Fox, Pikachu, Young Link and Kirby.

Who thinks Jigglypuff's the most useless character?

I use Falco, Zelda/Shiek, Gannondorf, Marth, and Jigglypuff.

That shitty pikachu clone is by far the worst. Jigglypuff has that ohk move.

im old school, 64s was way better, it was the first and they did it right, the bonuses kept you playing, infact i played just saturday.

besides, gamecube sucks.

When i have "Serious matches" (with friends) I rape them with Marth. When i'm playing around i tend to go either luigi or kirby. I'm pretty good at all characters though.

I've only played the n64 version, Yoshi c^ aaav ftw. Although I hafta admit, Link's >a, <a, and >+^a slashes are pretty pwn too.

link's bombs where good, you throw his boomerang than pull out a bomb as they get up and Do a tab > a to throw it and it explodes on impact. and his down a pogo thing rules.

I also liked doing mario's down b then when they get launched up two options, jump up and kick them out, or up b and keep the combo going.
