I had Facebook until about two days ago, no joke.  I finally got fed up with their privacy policies and deactivated my account (though I didn't remove it, just in case something improves).

Well, I had all these things I liked, right? Bands, locations, companies I worked for, schools I went to, etc.  They were text, and everything was cool.  Then suddenly Facebook decides that these should actually be either public fan pages or nothing at all.  There's no longer a medium between the two of them (short of writing that stuff in my bio, I suppose).  Since I don't actually use Facebook that much, and I rarely even check my page, what's the point anymore?
