I have a crisis here.

Ehh... I cant get mouse to work, half of my RAM has broken today, HDD is getting punished, even windows xp cant install correctly here... I dont have money for getting new PC, NEITHER i dont have money for repairing this...

I got a question, could someone help me? I dont know how, sending money through PayPal? :( I dont know what to do :|

Please, someone, i need as much as you can do...

can you explain your problem more specificly and if you have a camera can you take pics of your comp and post them?

The point is i cant do anything! Here all my modding ends :(

I need to get new PC somehow :( That's sad.

Besides, my PC got 7 years now :O

can you please provide the following info about your comp:
cpu type and clockspeed
ram amount
hard disk capacity
operating system (version of windows)
the virus / spyware programs you have, if any

Processor: Pentium III - 500 MHz, gah, forgot the clockspeed
RAM: 128 MB ( i had 256 but half broken today )
HDD: 9GB ( windows xp installer gives me errors, i borrowed lots of winxp cds from friends and didnt worked! )
Windows Millenium Editio ( Windows ME )
No virus'es, no Spyware's

have you tried formatting the hard disk and reinstalling windows...if that doesnt work try ubuntu that has a much higher chance of working correctly. plus did you just reinstall windows or did you use a restore cd?

The hardware specs of your computer arnt that bad.
I think that you most likely have some kindof crazy virus on your computer causing all of your problems.

Please note that if you borrow a copy of XP and install it on your computer it will only work for 30 days before trying to activate with MIcro$osft and it wont be able to because it was already instaleld on your friends computer. M$ will call it an illeagle installation of XP and it wont work.

I recomend booting in safe mode and downlaoding virus / spyware removal software. If that doesnt work you will have to completely reinstall windows or just get a new computer.

I've reinstalled System WITH Disk Format like 3 times now.
And my friend that i borrowed CD dont have internet.
I'm using keyboard to navigate.

That's your problem right there. :) If you don't have XP Pro available, try a free Linux format and reinstall to see if that fixes your PC. If that doesn't work, then at least you know it's a hardware issue and not XP Me's corruption causing it to be so unstable.

What specific problems are you having? "Half my RAM is broken," "HDD is getting punished," and other "Ahhhhhh!!!!" type messages don't really convey much information.

download ubuntu and install that...xubuntu if you want even faster, but less graphics...all the help i can give you, you can try some other distros but ubuntu is first choice...if i was you i would start d/ling it right now.

Im getting errors many times, and amount of these is increasing... My PC cant detect Mouse's... PS/2 and USB mice's dont work here :/ My pc works slow and its slowing down a very little bit each run :(

Write what ubuntu is meanwhile ill be sleeping...

If you need money that bad, get a job :/
And for linux, go to your local pc store, and ask if they have any linux distros, shouldn't cost much, as for the mouse, it might not be supported by your hardware (considering it is 7 years old)

ubuntu is a operating system that is free. it used linux for its kernel and it will see if you have hardware or software problems. just download ubuntu for free, shouldnt take real long, maybe a day on slow internet.

XP needs 256 RAM to run well anyway. I ran it on less and it kept messing up.
So install 98se, a stable alternative.
Try Ubuntu to check for any problems.

You say you don't have any virus or spyware on your computer, but I somehow doubt that. What makes you think you don't have any? A Norton installation? Download, update, and run SpyBot, AdAware, and AVG anti-virus on your PC. A computer shouldn't get noticeably slower on each session unless it were contaminated.

Just try Ubuntu anyways, don't bother trying to install XP unless.....your a gamer.....which is odd for your PC.

EDIT: 9gb hd? Well xp i think takes up 4 gb.......so wow......what's your situation with money? To young or to lazy?

haha, i have a slightly better computer than you.

I have 216MB ram and 12gb of HD. Rest are same and 7 years old as well. Except mine runs smoothly still, I use win 2k.

Umm, for $600 AUD you can get a pc that can run hl2 okay (on mid settings) and AUD are worthless (as ville has had the pleasure of telling me). So with your euros/amerrickan dollars, you can easily afford a better computer, all you have to do is work at a job that pays minimum wage :)
