A Forum Modification Suggestion
« on: June 17, 2010, 04:36:11 pm »

Hello,
If you don't already know who I am, then I am a big time Interface maker for Soldat.  In the past, I've made over 50 interfaces, but it gets extremely time consuming uploading them, linking them, etc.  So I gave it some thought, and I was wondering...  Whoever is in charge of this forums' look and functionality, I would like you to edit the forum, if you can, to make it when one uploads interfaces, or anything for that matter, they can easily just Drag 'n' Drop, their files (.zips, .rars, .pngs, .bmps, and .jpegs only,) into the forum from their folder, rather than doing all of that uploading.  I know this might not be seen by too many moderators unless the SoldatSociety helps me, Interface Modders and Full-On Modders alike.  Post a link to this topic in your signature.  We can do it!!! ;)

Thank you Soldat Society for downloading my interfaces, and I hope you continue to support me.
Thank you Moderators and Admins, especially Espadon, for keeping this forum safe, clean, and organized.
Sincerely, OldValiken. :D

Or you could just hit Additional Options and attach it there

^ What he said. The current Additional Options would actually do the trick, only thing is that you have restrictions for uploading within the forum itself. Pretty fast process already.

And it looks like someone was too indulged in the Ava/Sig forum game XD

File size limit. Click "Additional Options" to see it. And if this was implemented it'd just be dragging and dropping the files onto the form instead of using the file upload selector. The change would be entirely aesthetic, there wouldn't be any difference in upload speed; I don't see much of a real benefit.

Also, you posted the topic in the wrong board. I've just moved it to where it should be.
