Author Topic: My band needs help with a new name, any suggestions? help appreciated (Read 2313 times)

Me and 2 of my other friends decided to make a band a few months ago.
We have gone through 3 drummers and all of them backed down from it because of reasons untold.
We were wanting to have the sound between "A Day To Remember" and "Blessthefall"
Unfortunately, due to our loss of drummers, were deciding to go acoustic and see how this goes

Benne - lead vocals/rythym guitar
Willy - harmonic vocals/harmonic guitar
Me(David) - harmonic vocals/lead guitar

We need a new band name, but we want a name that would mean something between us 3, and also be sorta original sounding.
These are some i have come up with:

Missing In May
Handle With Care
Simple Three Cheers
A Scapegoat's Lie
Drawing Between Destinies (which each word has first letter of our names)

but suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We're not good on hitting high notes, were working on it, but so far, its good.

"Sorta original sounding" just isn't gonna happen if your name (or music) at all relates to the genre.

Benne and The Tooth Fairies.
Dave, Dave, Dave... Dave. (Or Benne, probably not Willy)
Dreaming of a wood chipper.
Self distance issues.
Choke 'em, boke 'em.

haha well no, the genre was basically while we were in a bigger band.
now were just going acoustic meaning like, we'll play whatever is good enough to fit their voices =P.

i like the "self distance issues" name.
we dont want to really involve names in the band name, we don't want to focus just on ONE player in the group
it'd be unfair.
