Nope, not at the moment. Hopefully someone will adopt it though.

huh where do you see lanubia in this vtt?

btw, just looked around on that map, great visuals, great for almost every weapon, there's just the right amount of room for long range as well as close range weaps. The bridge is neat, funny tactics possible =D.

Whoops, I didn't realize how similar those red tones were. It just happens to be one of my favorite color choices for that texture, and to be fair, I did make Lanubya remake. :)

Nice gostek, by the way, it looks fantastic, what's it from?

Actually i think you did better on lanubia, top parts of the islands are shaded lighter while bottom parts are dark. But on Flute there is too much of solid gray with only some minor shading.

Gostek is part of one of my unfinished mods (Black★Rock Shooter)...

I'm sure I did do better, I'm so out of practice right now. It's been like half a year since I've mapped. Hopefully I'll get back into it.

Assuming that getting back into it means getting back into pratice means that hopefully, you'll be making some more maps?

Maybe. If I can keep the effort up. Hopefully I can pump a few more out before I go on another hiatus.

That'd be great. Didn't think coming back would be worth it, but I'm glad you think so! Enesce is still around so I don't see any reason for ditching Soldat yet. Great!

I'm not totally sure either, but mapping is fun for me, so I do it.

Now, has anyone played in a server or at least have advice for improvement?

Long time, no see Wraithlike.  What's been up?

I haven't played the map in a server.  With several rounds with bots I can tell that the gameplay is quite smooth.  It's suitable for all types of weapons, specifically close-ranged ones.  I can't really point out flaws, except that it may be a bit fast-paced for some people's likings.  But that's a matter of preference.

With Changeling, I can say that this is one of your better INF maps.  I know with your current scheduling and amount of motivation makes it difficult for you to map, but it's not a problem.  I can say that you've pretty much mastered mapping and is able to make balanced, fun maps.

This is Specialist by the way in case of stirring up any confusion.

Hey, not a lot, how about you.

And thanks, I've been on an inf kick lately. It might be my favorite type of map to make because there's a lot of room for fun asymmetry. That said, as much as I appreciate being called a master mapper, I'm far from perfect. Leviathan being an example. There are times where my desire to have a particularly aesthetic triumphs my better sense and I get a map that I'm very happy with but has sub-perfect gameplay. Still, I put in a lot of effort, test a lot, redesign and redesign until I have the most perfected map I can. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

The usual, dealing with a friend that attempted suicide, drummer and bassist of my band graduating, and being anti-social by choosing to stay indoors playing guitar until my hand cramps than hang out with people my age.

I've always found INF maps a challenge to make.  It's difficult to have a layout that is balanced and provides advantages for both teams, especially if it is asymmetrical.  But, that also makes them the funnest maps to create.  They require extra testing and attention.

I wouldn't say you're far from perfect.  ctf_Raspberry and inf_Changeling being examples of prime maps.  Sure, Leviathan is quite average in terms of layout and gameplay, but it's still satisfying.

Mm got finally chance to test the map at 3on3. This is one of the coolest stuff you've ever produced. Okay looks are very Wraithlikish, nothing suprising, feels like I've been in that jungle before.

But as for the layout, idea is pretty much fantastic. Attacking team has two choices, they can make cap with force: steal the flag and go cap right away, or by tactics throwing the flag top and teammate picks it. I actually tried this kinda thing with Warlock, but it seems work here much, much better. Only slight minus goes for polyislandishness (or wtf is right term) which I see in your maps commonly, a lot of small polyislands everywhere leading to that there are no open areas anywhere :S.

Dunno how properly you test your inf maps, but somehow you always find good balance automatically, even though the maps are usually different to each other.
