Tattoo
« on: July 15, 2010, 11:55:43 am »
I was considering getting myself a tattoo. Don't know why really.
Just talking a pretty small one on my arm. I was thinking about a scorpion design like theese ones

But yeah, what symbol would you be comfortable having on your body for life?
And if you are sporting one alrready, I would love to see it, unless it's on your dong or something.

I like the second scorpion from the top left corner, it looks really nice. Though I'd never ever get one myself. It's painful and barely removable ...

I've wanted for a few years now the Linux penguin, Tux, on my right ankle.

For years I've wanted memento mori on the left side of my chest, with mirrored text.

Translated literally, it means "be mindful of death" or, more specifically, "remember what it is to die." Life is finite. One day will be the last day I ever see. The tattoo is a constant reminder not to squander what short time I have left -- and I need that reminder since I so often lapse into lazy, unambitious contentment.

How old are you? And is that Latin or French? I can't really tell.

I would advise against a tribal anything, tribal is kind of like the male equivalent of a tramp stamp. People are just going to point and laugh. That being said go for it man. Just don't get it on your face or anything. Only people I know that regret their tattoos were people that got them while drunk or while in a gang.

I've been wanting a tattoo for a long time now, but I don't think the military would like it much. Neither would any employer, I suppose. My idea was to get a tattoo on both hands, left and right.

But the temptation to steal Vij's idea is so hard to resist. Damn you creative thinkers.

Yeah, your age sounds about right. You talk with so much wisdom in your voice. What do you mean by 'mtf'?

ASL? I'm sure you already know, but okay: 17/M/Florida.

I think he means "male to female" and I think he's not serious.

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

Sorry for asking, but care to share a pic or two to back that up? There are a few pictures of you in the link dump, but they all 404. I'm extremely interested in what you look like.

Pretty useful tattoo. Instead of telling girls with their icky vagina to get away from you, just show them the tattoo.

.... It's on my ankle because that's where the sun rarely shines.

Oh, and every time a girl sees my linux shirt, she'll be like "aww cute penguin!"
