my first day in a saw server
« on: August 15, 2006, 12:14:59 am »
Ok i had been playing in th saw server for like 2 or 3 hours the whole day so far, but I rarely used saw in the past, so I was starting to get average at sawing, plus there werent any pros in there so that helped. Well in this game i had 51 points and no deaths :) i ended up in third place overall at the end, but thats good since for regular games my record is like 90 points withought death :D so 51 isnt that bad.

i wonder how you play, I tend to run into openings in flaming glory blowing anyone out of the way.
You get obviously often killed in that manner. But the kill count comes out very high tho.

(hmm, i gotta change my gaming style...)

(thinking)

*goes brainstorming*

Dude, pixels begin to get real messed up in JPEGs because of anti-aliasing and quality crap. I think it's real.

I suppose he went to the trouble of pasting random names in there as well and darkening every pixel in the background to just the right tint, which would take ages in paint.

that is normal JPG compression at work, don't accuse people of stuff you apparently don't understand all that well.  He put the screenshot in MS Paint (hence the white space at the bottom and the capitalized JPG extension) and MS Paint has by far the worst jpeg compression algorithms in the world, thus making detail (for example, around words/letters) look like absolute horsecrap.
