New Soldat Mode

Ive just got an idea for a new soldat mode. It would be the same mode as in counterstrike with bomb-defusing and terrorist-hunts. I think you all know what i mean. I would like to see this with next patch. It should not be a problem for you to make such a mode. Bombs could be taken randomly by anyone of the terrorists team. bombplacing and defusing with button v or whatever. defunsing and placing would need 5 seconds or something like that.
new maps would be nice but ctf maps would match too... not perfectly but eh... do what you think. i hope you like my idea.

i know we are not in cs here, but who cares?  ::)

i think this could be made as a mod, but coding soldat as a modder so that you press a key to place / defuse the bomb will not work out. but there are other ways to do so.
Im against adding that to the default game cause Soldat is not CS.
I can only imagine that Mod in the R/S area. I guess it would be a nice thing but Soldat should have its own style and shouldnt copy other games.

I made a similar script to this called Search and Destroy. There is no point of adding things like this to soldat when you could just script it.

Look around the forum, there is alot of help topics as to how to install scripts. First u need a dedicated server of yours and then put the script on your server.

I would definitely play it. Don't know how you could say 'It's Soldat'. Soldat isn't defined by a gametype, a gametype is simply a gametype. It still contains all the elements that soldat features. I can think of countless games that use CTF and deathmatch, but that doesn't make the game what it is.

There are tons of interesting mods I'd love to play, including this one. Problem is - the servers always empty. There isn't really a point of making more modes (even scripted ones) when there's less and less people playing Soldat. :/

You're saying it, besides that atleast 75% (?) of them don't know anything about commands and shit.

It's possible to do by server scripting, we don't need it in original version...

What if the was a mod or game type in which you run around and capture objectives, sort of like INF exept that it is almost like a mission.
Even better idea... why not have missions for soldat???
