Problem at Interface
« on: September 14, 2010, 07:54:56 am »
Hello, folks.
I'm new in the community and have a problem with interfaces.
Not sure this is right place to post about this.
I'm Brazilian.
My problem is: When I give a shot of any weapon, the bar is square on the tip interface.
Here is the SS:

Just upload the interface in an archive here and we'll see ;)

Your Soldat resolution has to be 640x480 (default one), as the interfaces work properly just on it.
Last year, I dreamt I was pissing at a restroom, but I missed the urinal and my penis exploded.

Try this to adjust your interface for 800x600, 1024x768, etc.
Scroll down to see the latest version (maybe I'll post newest one this evening, some features were added...)

Also, read this to understand how non-default resolutions affecting to elements positioning.

You probably replace files in Interface-gfx.
You should do like that:
1. Open Interface Maker
2. Click on new interface
3. Type the name of your interface
4. Replace files in that folder (>Soldat >> Custom Interfaces >>> Your own interface)
5. Open Interface Maker again
6. Load your interface
7. Set everything correctly
... and check now.

None of you understood what he meant.

klauskrieger: You can't change this, because this is how Soldat renders bars. However, you can overlap those bars with parts of the interface that are rendered on top of them. You can find the Z-order here. If you put jet.bmp on top of that left part of reload-bar.bmp, the rounded part will be hidden beneath jet.bmp.
I'm pretty sure this is the only way to make it look nice. I used this "technique" in this and this interface.
