Bear is a girl scout compared to Les Stroud. At least survivorman actually does some real surviving. Bear has a whole camera crew follow him around playing up some fake danger while Stroud carries all his own equipment.

Dude, I don't see how showing yourself and taking triple the time of a journey to carry and put cameras everywhere make you show survival skills . If I want to see a survival show, I wanna see good techniques and good advice. I don't think I will ever lose myself somewhere in the mountains with a s**t load of cameras in my back.

Sure Bear has an entire team behind his back and I really don't mind, as I don't really care how much a "pussy" he is because of that , as long as he shows me good survival skills. Even if he had 300k guys covering his ass I really haven't minded.

Besides that , Les Stroud only takes time to make a fire and stay in one place almost all the "survival days" and b***h about everything.

Bear tells his audience to wander around and slide off a cliff until they hit a highway while Les shows his audience how to hunker down and survive until rescue can find him. For his own safetly he has a limit on how long he's going to be out filming but he stays in a location long enough so that he can cover a lot of tips in each episode.

On the basis of survival techniques Bear gives terrible advice so he loses immediately. On the standard of action Man vs Wild is fake and Survivorman is a really good informative Documentary formatted show.

...so how do you know bear doesn't survive on his own ? He may get advice or very little help but most of the things he does are purely individual (sleeping where he makes his sleep place, eats only the things he finds, drinks the same, and the stunts he does are more than on his own)... And if survivor man would have a cameraman with him he would cover much more ground and not bother carrying and b****h about how many cameras he has to carry.

-lol- No. B****hing about everying ISN't a technique of survival. To be able to survive you first need to think clear and positive , full of hope. If you don't, you're far from taking the right decisions in the right places and finally being rescued. I don't support bear for his stupid stunts or whatever, but I would certainly not want to hear a guy who b****h about everything he dislikes and sings his harmonica to attract bears.
