(Sorry if I am unintelligent, since the knowledge I have only comes from a school text book...)
assuming it was a standard issue key like the one shown on this webpage: http://www.jstor.org/pss/3613451one could safely say the number of different keys is equal to 7^6=117649The odds would then be 1:117649, but as the website states, if N1 and N3 equal 7, N2 could NEVER equal 1.BTW, that website states that the number of different keys equals 6^7, but this is false. It's not exactly as exciting as winning the lottery, but still, the odds are pretty slim.Now, what I'm wondering is, what are the odds that this is a true story?
