Re-edition of tw_crater.

It's symmetrical, post-apocalyptical map.
  • At the bottom of middle the crater is lava.
  • Healplaces are marked by medkit on wall.
  • Wires are placed on hurting polygons.
  • Map & bunkers backgrounds are made by me.

Map info
  • Polygon count: 1750
  • Scenery count: 301
  • Spawn points:  24
  • Waypoints:     489
  • Medikits:      10
  • Grenades:      12
  • Weather:       rain

Changes:
  • map is shorter (shortened grass part between spawn and 1st bunker)
  • mid crater is much smaller
  • map is flatter
  • many polybugs repaired (i hope so)
  • added 1 spawn from air for each team
  • modified scenery
  • added some animated scenery
  • deleted colliders from trees (only broken trunks collides)
  • modified vertical tunnels in bunkers to facilitate moving
  • reduced amount of hurting polygons
  • added waypoints
  • increased medkit/grenades amount

I did that map after i heard complaining about old, boring maps on Leo's TW.
That's not my first map, but first for TW. Yes, I know it's big ;)

It's symmetrical, post-apocalyptical map. Middle of biggest crater is lava. Smaller craters don't hurt. in some trees there are Bullet Colliding polys to avoid too intense spray/snipe spray. Also some roofs has hurting wires.

Map & bunkers & crater backgrounds are made by me.

Map not waypointed (if it would be needed i can do it).

I would be glad if you have any notices what to fix or if it's ok.

I would be happy if that map could be on Leo's TW. But before i want hear ppl opinions.

Ain't this in wrong place? Anyway, awesome map. I have too tried to make some new maps to Leo's TW, because I don't see there new maps too tight, and this looks at least better than mine. (Mountain, River, D-Day, Midnight [Midnight and Mountain are there already.] )

Oh, I just played it and I repeated: Oh, no. It's good map and beautiful, but why you have maked that tree, in front of second bunker to collider.That is so  >:(  . Otherwise I really like it. but that. Owning that bunker doesn't benefit almost any. And grass is beginning of the map too long.

ye, whole map is a little too big. that tree is to avoid snipe-spray, i wanted to use not only hurting/ice polys

Style is not that bad, but layout with huge hills and almost no useful trenches doesn't suite TW at all...

 This is one of the maps I tried out while I been sick, And I have to agree with Monsteri.. The colliders outside the bunkers (The tree ones) are kind of a bit defeatist as other than the health-generating kits (A nice touch BTW and one I'll have to include in my large maps..) there's little reason to strive to hold the bunkers anymore. Rather than one large tree/collider maybe break up smaller colliders in the tree's branches, Or perhaps more, Smaller trees to break up the spray? Defending those bunkers with a grenade launcher or LAW is nigh-impossible now. XD

 Otherwise a fine sprawling warland-style map. I like!

 Might want to make a note in the description for the thread/map at the top there about the barbwire causing damage, And the healthkits. I was unaware of either of those features untill I stood near enough to them.. XD
