My phone which I've almost had for 5 months or so is the original Motorola Droid, running under Verizon. It works quite well, and I love the keyboard. I'm constantly gtalk'ing people, txt'ing, and ssh'ing into various servers and getting work done... all in the middle of class! I also use it as an iPod, of course, but I preferred my iPhone's way of browsing through music but the realtime last.fm scrobbling makes up for that.
You mentioned those but didn't say it has-AMOLED screen-Capacitive touch screen-Resolutionand other numerous stuff ?It looks nice and sexy, I would definitely buy one if I had the money. If they did a revision of the HTC HD2 with some of these features ( except the res/screen size, which is already big enough I suppose ) that would be some awesome.Right now I have some Motorola green "recycle" cellphone, might get HTC HD2 for $150 today I hope I just hate that..on those videos, they don't show actual real-time interaction damn marketing

yeah wutReally though, I just don't think we need cell phones. All of the generations before us were fine without perpetual access to their contacts. People need privacy, if we're butting into each other's lives constantly how is anything going to get done?I'm currently at college, without a 'casual' phone (the one above is for emergencies and business only; I can't afford an unlimited plan). If I want to hang out with someone I care to learn their schedule so I can find them, or we arrange in advance to meet somewhere some time. It's fun to meet up with people that way. Of course, I check my e-mail once or twice a day, so if someone does want to reach me, they can. And if someone needs to give something to me but they can't reach me, there's always my post office box.Call me old fashioned, but I think I'm much happier that I would be if I were locked into the cell phone world. Spontaneous instantaneous immediate everything is not necessarily better.

The only gripe I have with it is the battery life. My iPhone could easily last 3 or 4 days while I need to charge my Droid every chance I get otherwise it'll die in like 2 days, under a day if I'm actually using it.

You use your droid more frequently while s**t *cough* iphone lays unused. Android is way better.
