Which camera do you use?

I use the ancient Creative PC CAM 300 camera - one of the first cameras with integrated memory. (8 MB is enough i think...) Also it does pictures in ass-huge VGA 640x480 resolution!

Screw your Carl Zeiss bulls**t.

Sony nex-3. It bumbs out 16:9 pictures, and full-HD videos.  Lens's focal length is not big, default 18-55, but I'm going to buy a better one. (lens, not camera. Nex-3 is the best I've ever got.)
And 8 gb memory card. 14.2 megapixels

I just got into photography this year, but I been researching since it really is an expensive hobby. I use to think its just point and shoot but I have a greater appreciation of how difficult it really is.

Camera body: Nikon D5000

Lenses:
Kit Lens 18-55mm VR F3.5-5.6 DX (1.5 cropped)
35mm AF-S F1.8 DX (1.5 cropped)

Saving up money to buy the 60mm Micro-Nikkor F2.8 macro lens, I'm really into macro photography.

Accesories:

SB-600 external flash- to use for better flash and off camera flash

NPT-04 wireless transmitter and receiver- to do off camera flash since my camera does not support commander mode(uses radio waves rather than infrared)

ML-L3 wireless remote- to take pictures without holding the camera(infrared)

tripod

 ├ 32gb built-in memory.
 ├ 14.2 megapixels.
 ├ 35mm wide Lense.

 ├ Etc.

Accesories:

├ A wireless remote control, to controll the camera when it's wired onto the TV.
├ HD Adaptaters to watch on TV
 ├ Other utilities

I dont have a dedicated camera, so the most things i take photographs of are made with a mediocre 3.2mpix phone camera.

Any pictures to show off photography skills?

I took this in evening of the new year. It's not best ones I have, but I have thousands and thousand of pictures in my hardriwe, so I wasn't motivated enough to search for them.
Btw, how to do this?

Or good photographing skills :p .
No, I think the camera is better than I do. Only thing I dislike in it, is that when you are choosing lightning, colour sets etc; it doesn't go back to menu, it goes straight into picture-taking-mod or whatever. It makes professional photographing annoying, because all of that scrolling, so usually I just choose iA, ``smart bot´´ mode what pretty well sets right settings.

F1.4 50mm? I almost bagged on you until I saw the f-stop. So, you're legit.

I've got a Nikon F100 (SLR), which only kicks ass until you get into the cameras with 18+ megapixels (basically, if you did not know, film cameras are equivalent to  an ~18 megapixel DSLR).

Yes, and with a 24mm and 50mm, both the basic F2.4 etc. Fixed lenses ftw. My father lugs around a 300mm with a multiplier thing, so he essentially has an equivalent to a 600mm lens :o

I want a Nikon D5... $5000 ):

Well, yeah, I'd have an 18mp DSLR over a film camera any day

Regardless, here's more information, skeptic:

You're agreeing with one of the dumber posts on the thread.

18MP is not some sort of magic number that will make your images good, stop being a tool. If you can't take good photos with a derpy old film camera, you can't take good photos with a 40MP Hasselblad or whatever the size of their digital backs are these days.

I've not got a new camera since my last one suddenly stopped working. :(
I really need one though so perhaps it's time to go looking for a good one...

You don't need a fancy ass camera to take good pictures.

I took those pictures with 3.2 megapixel Sony Ericsson K810i,

Those are good :) It is true that you don't need ass huge objectives to take good photos, but when there are not much light, those objectives rise to value unpredictable.
