Awesome idea or what? I can do sounds and the weapon mod but I need some one to do all the graphics as I suck at pixel art. The games files will provide all most every thing need to make a Soldat mod.

I can make the pics if you want,just send me some example pics of the weapons you want and the weapon list also.If not just tell me what weapons you want and list,I can improvise weapon looks.

I can't believe it hasn't been done yet either.

Leoniard, I'll be sending you sample weapon gfx in a few days. I'm out a computer I can download the game on ATM.

Monsteri, same thing but I may be able to send you something today. You can do the interface-gfxes.
EDIT: Here are the weapons in the game.  All you may need to do is re-size them. If you can do them all even the vehicle weapons, I may be able to use them.

I'll be working on the weapon mod .ini. I'll need to play the game again to see how the weapons work. I don't want to do the sounds they're a pain at least the last time they were. Can some one help with this? I'm sure that all the sounds are in the games files and they're in wav. already.

Sounds familiar... "I wanna make a mod, but I need someone to do the work for me!".

Why not mix GTA 1, 2, 3, Vice City, San Andreas and the latest together, and select the best weapons of them all?
Suggestion: You know those icons in the latest ones? Please... use those for interface gfx!

I will maybe resize only to get the shape and add some bits.
I'll add some weapons that LOOK like they're related to GTA 2 if you want.

Won't be a problem we can re-purpose the vehicle weapons and just make shit up too.

I'm a very humble mod maker; I can't do everything. I can't do pixle art I have no patience for it.

I want to do "Classic GTA" after GTA III they where completely different games which is ok but they where no longer what the original GTA was. Classic top down arcade action shooter, amazing story and missions with flawless structure. What we can do is take weapons from GTA 1, 2, London, 1969 and London, 1961. I haven't checked but I'm pretty sure there the same or very simular to GTA II anyway.... We'll just make some up then.

The interface, check this image... see the M16 interface graphic? It would be pretty cool if you make the graphics like that (not the weapon gfx, but the interface stuff).

Almost all are ready, but I feel the need to tell, that I don't know what weapons could be steyr and ak-47? Any ideas?

Ak will be an AK-47 and steyr could be a carbine rifle (M4A1) but I have no graphic for you. Use this in the second row, four to the right is the ak and below it is the M4A1. These are from GTA IV. Try and remake them in the same style as GTA II.

@The Bone Collector like these?? I don't think there is room for that.

Just played some GTA2 ... this is gonna be the best mod ever.

It was jut for you, and me too I forgot also xD. But I did work on some stuff. I finished what would be a first draft of the weapon mod. but GTA II 's weapons are overpowered. I'll have to find a good cuve that will balance them. one thing is that there is no reloads so when I start this up again that's what I'll work on. atm this is not my #1 soldat priority but at least it doesn't take much of my time. my #1 is in my signature. so where are you guys at anything else being done?
