Not if you make your profile private, tighten the security privileges so only friends see your profile, and only add people you know in some way and trust to not f**k you over.

That said, if anyone wants my facebook url, and has talked to me directly/personally off the forums personally via im/irc/email, PM me for it if desired.

Facebook literally has millions of uploaded pictures. Of all them, I imagine they personally handpick the best looking ones for use in ads. What's the chance you'll be in an ad, then? Minimal at best.
