Fullscreen lag?
« on: February 11, 2011, 03:11:30 am »
This has been bugging me for quite a bit but I am getting some weird stutter/lag when playing in fullscreen mode even when my fps ranges from 80 to 300. In windowed mode it doesn't happen

This is so annoying and keeps getting me killed many times.

Help?

Tried different settings and combinations from the Soldat Setup? Compatibility mode? Do other games do this too at all?

Tried messing with the settings. Every game I run on my pc work fine except soldat. Now if I come of think of it, this also happened on 1.4.1 with my old 9600gt, except this time its worse on my gtx580.

Is there anyway to lock my fps to lets say, 60fps in soldat?

Yes, it is possible by enabling V-Sync from the Nvidia Control Panel. It can be set as a global setting or per-application.

Okay, I tried forcing it on but it still stutters and my fps is still over 300+, no choice then. :( I'll just have to run it in windowed mode.

maybe just set "windowed mode resize" to 100% ;)

I believe zakath has said that the next version of soldat will contain an option to lock your fps at a certain rate, so I just guess sit tight!
