I was going to post something similar, but he didn't say men were incapable of being emotional. He just said they weren't, and I agree (at least compared to women).

I guess I also refrained from posting because I don't really have much to say on the matter. At the end of the day, women are just other people, and I guess that's pretty much how I treat them and interact with them.

No, every person is different in this sort of way, regardless of gender. You can't be stereotypical/sexist like that.

Expressing emotion and feeling emotion are far different things. Societal roles have conditioned men to show less emotion, and they do, because it is expected. Women are conditioned for more compassionate roles, and they usually are. Considering Tomboys and Feminine Men "exist" (in that society notices this group rather than "human"), there is a general difference in how men and women express emotion, or traits.

Biological differences are there as well, the brains of genders function different, it's not a big deal. When confronted with physical pain, the female's mind will light up in the emotional center (they are seeking "why" they are being hurt), the male's problem solving part of the brain will light up "how do I stop this pain".

I don't believe in degrading genders, but to ignore the differences in cognition is just silly. Difference does not imply inferiority, it is merely difference.

anyway. my two cents. i wouldnt look at this so narrow minded. there are certainly some very distinctive physical and emotional differences that tend to appear between men and women. but that also doesnt mean its that clear cut. you can have hermit men and women aswell as sociable and charismatic men and women.

my main point here is try not to label. life is not a series of black and white boxes. and nor are humans
