Hello fellow soldats

my newest map for soldat that i made out from a sketch in photoshop

the layout is pretty simple and gives the gameplay a circular flow


it is made for dm tdm htf and rambomatches so try it out and enjoy

Not bad shading on the outside, not sure about the shading on the stairs-y thing in the middle. Looks tiny o.0

Very small map, nice visuals, balanced teams but no mirrored map. I like it.
No difference between man and mouse - both end up in pussy.

What I am saying is that this map is substandard in every aspect and that you ought to shove it back up your ass.
This particular map will never be any good for anything because:
1. The layout is too basic, if this were soldat version 0.9, this might have passed as a playable map.
2. Wall of colliders can be abused by constantly shifting from left to right, which means that it FAILS.
3. You can't hide, sneak up on anyone and there is no way to use the advantage of long ranged weapons.
4. Not possible to play this with several players without getting spawnraped by grenades.
5. Are there no other textures in your textures folder?
6. Quantum?

3. same problem as arena2, but people still play it. this one is bigger than arena2, so it's slightly better on that front
4. if there's only two teams playing, sure. If there are 3 teams, then you can fly away from any of the spawns quick enough imo. and if normal DM, no problems there.
5. the texture suits it
6. meh it's small.

I would refrain from making something this small and... fairly generic. But I wouldn't mind playing a TM game in it for some face paced stuff.

I think you mean Arena2 is a similar size, Arena2 is at least 3 times more complicated than this map

To simple you should make it bigger it looks nice but gameplay and everything else is crap

So, you saw a picture of some theoretical vagina and got inspired by the shape of it? While putting all your trust for it to turn out good?

Try not to be so rude.. I though agree that this map doesn't offer any new gameplay, but does every map have to? It looks good, except that tunnel-away-thing in the left right side. This is no any camper map, but it still suits a bit hiding.
   And Horve, of course it doesn't suit many many players! It's a small map hello? Go to play big maps if you want 15+ players.
   Gleerup, I wonder why you haven't made waypoints. This would be so easy piece for waypoints. If you don't know how to waypoint, go to mapping help/resources board, there you'll find the stuff. Anyways, next time, plan the map more.

You repeated your previous map  :-X
