Since there's room for a variety of IM programs for you to show off in your profile, it seems odd that there isn't for things like skype and facebook. (oh, and if you decide to remedy this, I would love for you to add a last.fm feature!)

Just a thought.

Also, does anyone actually still use ICQ?

I've beek interested in keeping the SMF installation as vanilla as possible to prevent version upgrades from being painful, and things like this would require database changes. If jrgp wants to take ownership of it and its implications on future upgrades, he's welcome to do it

Added facebook, skype, and lastfm fields. I don't know how to make them linkfied though.

Apparently SMF has an option for additional fields built in that's disabled by default. I think they're in a separate table or something.

Just added a field for your in-game nick, which is useful for people like Wookash (Furai) and myself (Grenade Juggler Joe).

Can anyone think of any other fields to add?
