Something to waste time on?
« on: April 20, 2011, 07:04:41 pm »
So, bored out of my mind. MMORPGs are bland. Soldat is boring.
Trying to find something that I can do well on, but will enjoy doing. Pc or PS3 games welcome.

Currently thinking about trying New Vegas.

Try League of Legends, a DotA-like, free game which I enjoy playing. If you try it, add me so I can help you get a good start. My nick is "ArtCrusader" ;)

Metroid and castlevania series for GBA are good tools to wipe out your time.

He's right you know..

Learning a programming language of some description takes time, but can be pretty fun if you're interested in that type of thing - it's also 'useful' in the world today.

In other words; games are bland.

Try to interact with other people perhaps? You will be sad that you have wasted so many hours of your life on stupid and useless games and not doing something fun with people ( although life as we know it is useless because we are born to die )

Go to new places, try to educate yourself more or learn something new.

If you're old enough, try out the bar scene. If not try something new for a change. I've taken up guitar, photography, and I do a bit of beat making here and there. I've done skydiving twice and plan to do it again this summer. The night life is where its at though. If stuff like that doesn't suit you, and you're a bit introverted(I also am with those personality test)try reading a book or going out for a walk in the park or something that gets you away from video games for a bit. VG's are fun, no doubt, but yes it does get old after awhile.

This.  Or go to the library and check out a book.  Or go on a bike ride.  Or take a walk.  Or call up some friends.  If computer games are boring you, then try something else!

Only anime shows I've felt any interest in over the years are Pokemon (original TV series) and various hentai.
so clearly jgrp is a goddamn anime connoisseur. his opinion might as well be law here.

Books! <3 Especially fantasy, my favourite.

And he said that below this sentence so he rather didn't want comments like "Get a life, kid".

I actually do social things, quite a lot. But, as a lot of people that live here in plain-old Illinois know, there isn't anything to do here. So it's essentially, "Hey, let's go walk around in a corn field or a forest." every other week. And as everyone's prepping for a festival that's thrown yearly, nobody is really available. So far I've just been spending time on Oblivion, helluva time killer.

Also, happy easter to all, and to all a good zombie jesus.
