As the topic says: it's (at least for me) very annoying while I play on pubs that when the EFC dies on teams respawn, the next player respawned instantly gets the flag. Sometimes in a crowded pub server you have to kill EFC like 5 times to finally return the flag...
Even on more official matches it happens sometimes, and adds extra "luck" factor instead of "skill"...
I got 2 ideas for that one:
1. Delete invulnerability/protection time for the player with flag, no matter if he just respawned
2. Make it possible to pick up the flag only after invulnerability time has passed.
Unfortunately neither 1st or 2nd idea makes the problem go away... Still they make it less irritating.
