It's very frustrating having your soldier not being able to move horizontally when he lights up a cigarette.

One of my biggest annoyances in Soldat. Make the animation cancel out as soon as player performs any kind of action.

Well it does seem like a fair enough punishment for Idling/AFK'ing.
When online, your AFK time is time that some other guy might be begging for on the server.

I think you meant campers. Idlers/afkers don't suffer from the animation since they're not even there. As for campers - they'd have 2 options:
a) just let the animation play with the risk of being seen by the enemy.
b) perform some kind of action, which also has a risk of being seen (or heard, since in case of barrett you can still hear the startup sound)

So in both cases the result would be mostly the same.

Still, I've had an animation occur more than once right after coming back from a phone call or the bathroom, so I don't know what you call that. Maybe a hallucination, but then again, I've never had any of those as far as I can remember.

Lol. Fun stuff. Unfortunately 95% players tend to kill idlers on signt, so it rarely works, at least for me. :(

MM added the idle animation for fun.
And it will stay in Soldat.

Animation itself is absolutely fine. It's not the animation, it's the fact that you can't move at all while the animation is playing - that is the real annoyance. Making the animation stop playing as soon as player presses a key should do the trick without having to remove it completely.

And it will stay in Soldat.

At least cancel it as soon as you perform an action or have it never trigger when you aren't idle, i.e. typing.

Just because it's an old feature does not mean it's not annoying.

Just fix it so that it cancels when pressing movement keys.

I only wrote "remove" in the title in case it wasn't fixable.

Everyone in Hn'S is annoyed by this bug.

I think we all agree that it should stay. It's part of Soldat.
What is needed here is to allow movement keys to cancel it in the same fashion as punching and pressing nade does.
