Looking for decent PC games compatible with a gamepad

So the latest gift that I got from my baby cousin is a used USB compatible PC Gamepad, in honor of a long lost past, when we'd play soccer games together on my old rig.
Now it's not exactly a 360 wireless, but it's decent, and now I feel like getting something good to make use of this thing.
I like anything from games like PES to hack'n'slash action, to flight simulators, but the problem is, even my current rig can't handle anything too big, I'm talking about an Intel 82945G Express Chipset Family 128mb graphics card, 1GB of ram memory, and DX10 or higher support. I know it's not much to work with, but I've managed to run games like PES 2010, NFSU:MW, and Tomb Raider: Anniversary on it.
All suggestions are more than welcome, and thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Team Fortess 2 works wih it. My friend Rapid said it wasn't too bad to play either.

Id say any single player game, or RPG would work too. There is a Morrowind mod for controllers.

Oh Abes Oddysee and Exodus are perfect for game pads. Get em for cheap off Steam, or wait till mid summer, theres supposed to be a HD remake of Abes Oddysee.

I'm sorry but that card cannot really handle BF2. Let alone BF3. lol

I would suggest The Elder Scroll series, with downgraded mods (made for shittier comps) if you can. The GTA series, and maybe some others.. I just can't think of much that will run smoothly on that.

Why don't you get a dedicated graphics card? $20-50 (9800gt, 4850, etc) depending on how lucky you are. That is, if you have the PCI-E slot :p

Eh, my motherboard isn't as shitty as my graphics card, so I could install a dedicated card, the only problem is, they're too damn expensive where I live, and to be honest, too damn hard to find.
And you are correct, BF3 will definitely not work with this card, not even BF1 did.
Thanks for all the suggestions so far, though, I'll be trying Abe's Oddysee and that Elder Scroll stuff, maybe I'll like it.

There's a hack-and-slash MMO called Vindictus that I'm pretty fond of. It plays quite well with a gamepad.

You might also benefit from trying Resident Evil 4 and 5, some Dynasty Warriors ports, Assassin's Creed, etc. Most games that come out these days natively support wired 360 gamepads, which is pretty cool, even though it does mean that PC games are basically just high-res console games. Oh well.

Sadist: Vindictus is definitely out of my PCs league, but I already played RE4 on Wii and it was somewhat too easy, and RE5 was pure shit, no offense.

I'm a huge fan of Assassin's Creed but unfortunately don't have high enough shading for it, FML.

Dnmr: Nah, I read every single conversation and every single book and note in Deus Ex, I think I can handle text pretty well.
