The Facebook apps were cute in the beginning, but the "Invite 10 people" thing is annoying, or the "someone answered a question about you"..?

Anywho, yeah, a friend of mine sent me an invite for Google +. I logged in, did a few things, and kind of ignore it now. But it's bound to be something pretty neat. The circles thing is appreciable so far.

The problem with that point of view is that you don't HAVE to use Facebook a certain way. You don't have to play Farmville and Mafia Wars, you don't have to poke people all the time, etc. etc. etc. So you join Google+ with three or four of your nerdy friends? Why not just delete all of your Facebook friends except those four?

Then "Facebook that's not Facebook" ISN'T really what you wanted after all. You just want Facebook but are too hipster to admit it.

Is there any way to create a circle that would be "shared" with its users? I mean, you can make your circles for yourself, but can you make something like a group people can join? I thought of making a SF group, but it seems you can only make a circle others can't really see.
