Apologies for my lazy post. I have been playing music since I can remember and am finally getting around to recording things. Most of the things that I have recorded are demos so I guess I'm just looking for opinions and suggestions on where to go next. Specifically, I'd like to know opinions on this piece: http://www.urhos.com/share/memory.mp3 . I'm aware that it's a little off time, but I would like to know what you think about the vibe and the general idea. Thanks.

You can ask him for tracks I suppose.

EDIT: If you are too shy, I can do it for you, too :P

EDIT2: I asked him for a playlist, because I got interested as well \o I will drop you a PM asap.

tell him to always include tracklists, because when people see artists they know they are more likely to listen to the mix. And use the EQ when mixing two tracks together - cut the bass on one of the tracks when two are playing at the same time so the beats dont clash, but drop the volume only right before the drop of the next track. Slowly fading the volume out sounds absolutely shit, the listenter is not supposed to notice the mix =P Or maybe his crossfader is on the wrong setting so the master volume drops between two tracks (you can even see it on the level visualisation on soundcloud - there are smooth curves between two tracks). Speaking of levels, some tracks are louder than others, you should either normalize your mp3s or keep an eye on the levels.

Couldnt sum up much better than dnmr - he needs to use his EQ, or at least use high/low cut. For a song with so much beatmashing, I find it odd that his crossfader skills appear, well poor by comparison. Sort of thing makes me question how much was mixed and how much he just hit play for. Might I ask, what kind of mixer is he using? I get the impression he is using Traktor with only a mouse.
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn’t work that way. So I stole a bike and then asked for forgiveness.

SocialSmile - Toilethole is full again

Complete remake our band's very first song. While some riffs resemble the original, theres lots of new stuff including a new chonus, acoustic guitars, apolacyptic synths and solo.

smiley, I remember disliking some of your music in the past, but the last few you've posted here are good. Not sure if that's because my music tastes are changing or because the music is getting better, or both, but keep posting them here and I'll listen :D

I used to and still do like hardcore techno, speedcore and harsh industrial noise, which is propably what you heard in the past. Bass, noises and distortion was pretty much all it needed. Nowadays I swap styles and genres a lot.

I like to make people test their subwoofers maxed out with this. :)

Not a bad song, but I take my chances and doubt that you're not a performer in that band.
