Mainly because I can't find any loli pics that are in 90 x 90.

While the 90x90 choice is quite minimalistic, it is also weird. There is a vast majority of avatar pics made by hundreds of people all with 100x100 or something like 90x100 or vice-versa.

Sure, it's pretty simple to just resize some things, but something grand is lost in those 10 pixels we have to shave off.

Kind of like your dick shrinking an inch the day you found out Michael Jackson was dead.

I always thought 90x90 was common avatar size on forums. However a 100x100 ava wouldnt harm sf  cause there are only few active members.

I'm a member of various torrent forums and nothing pisses me off more than gigantic fucking avatars. I'm quite pleased with flab/eh's avatar decision. It also forces you to be more creative as it takes more effort to make something so small look so awesome. It also makes the forum's theme look better. So, no.
