Irene is here, still have power AND internet! Go me!

I'm sitting here staring at this tree in my neighbor's back yard. This tree is pushing it's luck. It's tilting at a small angle. When the eye gets closer, I guarantee that tree goes bye bye.

One of my friends said he´d like to experience something like that. At first I gave him the what-the-fuck-bro look but then I thought again abut it and... He does have a point, as long as you don´t experience something like this you honestly don´t know shit bout it. Sure, you can read some info, but it still is nothing compared to being in a proximity to one of those.

Hope no one here gets hurt, I´ll keep my fingers crossed.

I had to evacuate Wildwood NJ further inland. NJ has taken so many precautions with this storm that I think we should all be fine. If I were worried at all I'd be worried about trees falling on people's houses.
