How do I disable Anticheat?
« on: September 06, 2011, 10:36:43 am »
Sorry for not introducing myself properly but I just came here to ask how do you disable the anticheat module, because like when I request the server list I see some servers without that green shieldy thing which I believe is the anticheat mark, but now people can't join in mine because of a missing dll or something and they get the message "Anticheat failed" and thus nothing happens. I've been looking (maybe not well enough but it kept linking me to quake stuff) all over and I don't think it's going to fix itself.

Check out Soldat.ini and external_anticheat or something like that (or in server.ini)
Set it to 0 then it should be off.

Do this for the server then the green shield will disappear after you restarted it.

Whoops, figured out the problem: there still was a

BattlEye_Anti_Cheat=0

in my soldat.ini

instead of what is the modern name

External_Anti_Cheat=0

I downloaded the dedicated server version to make sure. I wouldn't have gone that far if it wasn't for your post. Thanksies!
