Mouse Optimization Guide

I believe that everyone should read it to improve aim.

I would add :

This method increases the frequency of only ONE USB port to which the mouse is connected.

Download this file: http://hlds.pl/images/Hidusbf.zip .Click on the "Filter On Device" (on the bottom left corner) and select the desired frequency. After this click "Install Service". WARNING! Sometimes the mouse freezes, and in such cases, turn off / turn on the mouse or do a system reboot. If the problem persists, this means that this method is not for you.

But I prefer PS/2

Warning:
If you're playing on Soldat 1.5,
don't bump your usb polling rate. As it will make the "mouse button get stuck" bug appear very often and dramatically mess with your gaming experience.

If you're already playing on 1.6 rc1 or later, then go ahead. As I can confirm the bug as been fixed.

For the rest of the guide, it doesn't matter which version of Soldat you play. I highly recommend tweaking your mouse with this guide.
And don't forget to set your monitor to his max refresh rate ( point 2.6 in the guide )
I have the chance to own an old crt that can output 640x480@200hz. And the fluidity is out of this world!
