Access Vio when I start Soldat

Everytime soldat starts it has a weird font and i get 2 access vios then it doesnt respond and I have to close it. I've tried reinstalling, deleting all folders and reinstalling, and changing font file.

Hmm your fonts look different.
Did you change some settings? Can you paste your font.ini (it's in the txt folder)?

Do you get the error only in registered version of Soldat or also unregistered one?

ITs because of the font, its rediculously retarded I had the same shit when i installed 1.6 randomly.

Fix: Change to the normal font style

You can try with another font styles (find some in windows folder), but probably something other makes that bug...

Did you try to run Soldat unregistered?
You get the same error message when you run it unregistered?

Or just rename the Key there into oldkey or something different then Key.
Then you can undo the change when you finished testing.

well how am i supposed to know which one of the files is the one to rename and i accidently renamed the reg binary in the first one and i cant remember what it was called

also is the key in the completed folder?

The Key is called "Key" and it's in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Soldat

Actually it seems like you need to go into
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Soldat
and the Key should be REG_SZ not Binary

Difficult to figure out...
Especially since you get the access violation in RICHED20.dll and not Soldat.

Well I've been playing soldat for 7 years and I don't really wanna stop, but nothing has changed on my computer I just reinstalled soldat and this came up...
